Arsene Wenger Pre-Brighton Presser

Wenger faced Media ahead of the FA Cup fourth Round Trip to Brighton And Hove Albion. Here is what he said.

On Team News...
We have uncertainties about Chamberlain and Bellerin. They have tests today. Hector should be
available, Ox not sure. Also, young German Serge Gnabry is back in training after a serious knee problem. Danny Welbeck could be back after 2 weeks. Mesut Özil is likely to start.

On Krystian Bielik...
He is not ready for 3 weeks as they had winter break in Poland.

On trip to Brighton...
I remember Brighton 2 years ago, it was a very difficult game and we had to dig deep to get out of there. (FYI Olivier and Walcott scored in 3-2 win)

On Victory at Manchester City...
It helped to strengthen our confidence. We have certainly got more belief and more strength in that belief.(looking forward to Brighton again) For us the challenge is to turn up with the same spirit and show that we can be consistent with our attitude.

On Gabriel Paulista...
Talks are progressing well. Can we find an agreement? There's a chance. Its 50-50 (his 50-50 are generally 80-20 though).(Also said) not necessary (that he'll represent the end of January Business if arrives)

On Coquelin...
Coquelin will be offered a deal (and was confident that he'll sign). I saw that he made huge improvements in training so I sent him on loan for match practice (you already know the good story since his return).

On Diaby Contract...
We have a decision to make on
his contract. (FYI his contract expires in June)

On Santi's Great Form...
He's very talented. He's added another dimension to his game since he's played centrally. In the recent games he's been in the best form of his career. He's a perfect example.(Job cut-out for Mesut Özil as Santi's form makes him indispensable)

That's all.
