Arsene Wenger has claimed that he almost signed Angel Di Maria for free when he was just 17 years old. But the move was hindered by Work permit issue, the very same thing which is causing delay in Gabriel Paulista deal. The Argentine then moved to Portugal and later to Spain playing for Real Madrid before he finally arrived at England as the most expensive signing costing around £60mn. And to the disappointment of Gooners' community (which is out of question now courtesy of Sanchez's phenomenal form), he moved to Manchester United instead. Now we are good enough though to not need him anymore.
As we all are well aware of, La Proffesseur has also claimed of signing today's mega stars namely Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic and Yaya Toure on previous occasions. It makes me wonder how deadly the team might have been with their presence but I also wonder what was so unfortunate all the time that we missed on every one of them. Perhaps some misjudgment and wrong decisions from the Frenchman's part to blame for. Eh! Let it be now! No use of crying over the spilled milk.
Moving on, there is not much to talk about now besides Brighton. The seagulls have been in form lately since Chris Hughton took over as Manager. They have won their last 3 matches out of 4 that's same with Arsenal as well. The only difference has been the quality of Opposition which is massive. The Gunners are heavy favourites to progress but they should be beware of their manager who has often caused problems to the defending Champions when in charge of now relegated Norwich City. But looking at the phenomenal form of Wenger's men, I am confident of a victory!
That's it for now. Will be back tomorrow with more to talk on.
