Looking Ahead...

Arsenal lost UCL R16 tie 3-1 to Bayern Munich on aggregate after playing a 1-1 draw at Allianz Arena. The loss means Arsenal have failed to qualify for UCL Quarterfinals in last 5 seasons. They have been ousted twice by Bayern, twice by Barca and once by AC Milan in Round of 16. In simple words, their UCL campaign this term is finished.  So what's up next?
Gunners are sitting 3rd in the League table with 59 points trailing leader Chelsea by 7 points with a game in hand. The next match is a North London Derby vs Tottenham Hotspurs. A win at White Hart Lane and Liverpool's loss against Manchester United will see them finishing weekend on 2nd place. If they win, their  Premier League title challenge will be sustained. And if they not, then the League is all but lost.
But Arsenal's progression into the Semis of the FA Cup, has kept their most realistic title hope alive. They are firm favourites to win it after Wigan knocked-out Heavyweights Manchester City in the last round. If they win the cup, they can count this season a successful one. After all, it will see the end of infamous 'Trophy Drought' for Arsenal and Wenger.
So Gunners have still got plenty to play for this season. And after considering their injury crisis and daunting fixture list, they will have to win it all the harder way.
Next up will be build-up to the North-London Derby. Untill then.
