Team News
Positive updates on this front. Aaron Ramsey is once again available for selection after his spell on sidelines. Francis Coquelin can feature despite of his nose injury but will need to wear a superhero mask in honour of his brave effort against Everton. Mathieu Flamini is two games (QPR and MU) away from fitness. Same with Jack Wilshere. They will be available in contention possibly for the game vs West Ham on 14th March.

QPR
The fellow Londoners are in a battle to avoid relegation following their promotion last season. Their form is not helping their cause either with just one win in last 6 matches. But Wenger is still not taking them lightly. "They fight not to go down. You expect the commitment and the fight from these teams. It's a difficult job that Chris Ramsey has. The most unenviable job is to fight not to go down down. It's a fight against fear."

Race for Top 4 and the Title
Arsenal have gathered both form and momentum for the crucial period that lies ahead. They have won last 5 of the 6 matches and currently occupies the 3rd spot on the table with 1 point lead and just 4 behind 2nd placed City. Wenger says "Of course it is possible to catch Man City. If you ask a team 4 points behind us if they could catch us and they would say certainly, yes."
"It's very tight. City are four points ahead and there are plenty of people chasing us in the top four. It's down to consistency. We have seen things change quickly in the last two or three months of the season. We have to focus on finishing as well as we can."
On Title hopes he admitted "Arsenal are at the moment nowhere near to winning Premier League."~if situation change for better and we continue our good form, then 'at the moment' could be 'the moment' of glory!

BFG and New Recruits
Mertesacker was dropped on bench against Everton in favour of Gabriel. So obviously there was going to be questions of stand-in skipper being dropped. Wenger gave his opinions on this subject.
On German "Everyone goes through periods of poorer form, but he understands we are all here to serve the club."
On the Brazilian "We bought him to hold down a regular place and that's the target. His English isn't perfect yet."
Frenchman finally revealed his plans for the 17 year old Polish midfielder Krystian Bielik. He said "He'll play for the under-18s tomorrow. I don't think he will make his first-team debut this season."

Arsene also paid tribute to Dave Mackay who passed away yesterday. He said: "He was great player, it is sad for English football."
That's all you need to know.
