Arsenal got a double blow today on injury front as Arteta and Debuchy, both first choice players were ruled out of action for further 3 months after having surgeries. Well that's a long period as we will be nearing the end of the season by the time of their return. But to square it with good, Legia Warsaw confirmed it on Twitter that Krystian Bielik will have his medical on Friday with the Gunners. It's also being coming from media that he will straight away join the first team instead of reserves. He is being touted as solution for our ageing midfielders namely Arteta and Flamini, both in their 30s.
As stated in earlier posts, we knew beforehand about Debuchy's absence but it will be prolonged now. Since we already have it covered with Bellerin and Chambers, we can deal with it. On other absentees, Wenger had positive update on Gibbs who, he said, will return to training from tomorrow. He also mentioned about Welbeck's unavailability, but it is not a big issue as we have Chamberlain and Walcott available.
We'll have more updates after Wenger's presser.
So till tomorrow.
