FA Cup Semis Preview

Arsenal travel to Wembley Stadium with 50,000+ fans to play their FA Cup semi-final against defending champions Wigan Athletics. Gunners run in this competition has been fantastic scoring 12 goals and conceding just 2 taking full advantage of playing all the games at Emirates. But their recent form has been disastrous. It has cost them the Premier League Title, and now such has been their plight that they are fighting for a top-4 finish to play Champions League next season.
Gunners go in to this game on back of 5 wins, 5 draws and 5 Losses in last 15 matches of all competition and their confidence is undoubtedly less after their loss against Everton. They need to step up their game to make the most of this opportunity to end their infamous trophy. Besides low confidence and bad form, they are also up against their injury crisis which can see them short of 9 first team players this weekend.
TEAM NEWS: Wenger faces a huge selection problem because of injuries and suspension. Koscielny, Wilshere, Özil, Walcott, Diaby, Gnabry, Ryo are all out and Gibbs, Rosicky and Oxlade-Chamberlain are doubt (though the trio were in team training yesterday). Flamini is suspended. Wenger will perhaps go for 4-1-2-2-1 formation. So team will look something like this...
Fabianski; Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Monreal; Arteta, Ramsey, Kallstrom, Santi Cazorla, Podolski; Sanogo.
Playing XI looks good but he might struggle to have first team players on bench and he might be forced for giving chance to academy starlets like Kris Olsson, Bellerin, Hayden and Akpom.
   Nonetheless, Let's enjoy the occasion.
