Arsenal Presser: Wenger talks title, Giroud and more

Arsene Wenger faced media ahead of Arsenal's trip to Burnley. Here is what he said.

Team News
Ox will be out for another two weeks. Szczesny and Koscielny are slight doubt. Injured quartet of Arteta, Debuchy, Diaby and Wilshere are back in contention. Rest all are fit.

Burnley
They are lying 19th on the table and are 2 points adrift of safety. And Wenger is doing a Wenger showing all respect to their weak opponent.
"It's a tough test for everybody because you shouldn't look at their place in the table.
"They started slowly but recently they have played very well. They are efficient at home therefore we have to make sure we produce the expected performance."
Wenger has asked his players to match the physicality of Burnley. "You have to be at their level of physical performance and then you have to produce the performance expected from us on the technical side. But yes you need to fight with them for sure."

Wilshere City Link
Jack has been linked with switch to Manchester City in last few days. Wenger trashed it like it should have been and made his intent clear.
"You can imagine my answer and send it to Sky Sports News. We are not in a position anymore where we have to sell our best players."

Title
The Title is as we all know it Chelsea's to lose. But if there is any team that can capitalize on their unforeseen and unlikely slip, then Arsenal is the only team with momentum. Le Proffesseur has not ruled it completely but he knows what is needed to have any such shot at Premier League Glory.
"Chelsea have a difficult schedule but so do we. All we can do is master our schedule. What we want is to go as high as we can until the end of the season. Give our best. We are in an important moment of the Premier League season. It's a period you show your quality by focusing on the next game."
"We had a difficult start, contrary to last season where we had a good start. We had many players out for four, five months after the World Cup. Since we have found our cohesion and we feel we have moved forward."

Team Selection
Wenger has never had 25 players available for a match throughout this season. Now he is having a good head ache.
"Everybody can have a really big impact over the rest of the season. That depends on the game, the fitness, the availability and the need of the team. Everybody is exactly the same."
"I don't want to speak about individual selection. There are 25 individuals who all deserve to play. We are all here to serve Arsenal Football Club and that is it."

Hailing Bellerin
The young full back is having a sensational season. He was full of praise for the Spaniard "Yes, I am surprised with how quickly he has settled in. That is down to personality."
"He had some difficult starts, like at Dortmund. Him and Chambers are only 20 and have had two outstanding seasons together."
"He came at the age of 16 from Barcelona so I consider him a real Arsenal player."

Olivier Giroud
HFB has improved leaps and bounds this season and is showing no signs of slowing. Wenger is impressed by the Frenchman and said "He's in outstanding form and has improved the quality of his game. He's playing his best football. He has the right focus to improve his game every day."

That's all.
