| Henry scored a club record 228 goals while playing as a gunner |
Last week it was reported that the Frenchman is coaching the youth team at Arsenal's Hale End academy. Of course it is the first step in pursuit of being a manager and similar to how another Gunners legend Dennis Bergkamp started his post playing career when he took the coaching role of AFC Ajax youth team.
When asked of his desire to be a manager of his beloved club on Jonathan Ross show, Titi responded "I don't know what Arsene wants to do and how long he wants to stay, but I just want to be equipped...to be in the position, maybe one day to be a manager."
He talked it of as a dream to manage the North London club "Being the manager of Arsenal FC would be a dream. I need to learn first. That is the most important thing."
He said he won't be able to turn down the opportunity if gunners hierarchy offered "I could not say 'no' to Arsenal, "So I would say 'yes'. It should be great."
But he will have to wait and no one knows for how long as Henry just started his career in coaching. Just to let you know, Arsene Wenger is currently in his first year of the 3 year contract extension he signed after winning the FA cup last summer. And Dennis Bergkamp is the Assistant Manager of the first team at AFC Ajax.
