Report: Arsenal vs Manchester City BPL 2014-15

Arsenal and Manchester City played out a highly entertaining game of football in front of the Emirates Crowd which ended as a high scoring 2-2 draw. Ramsey and Agüero casted aside the injury doubts and featured in starting XI which also had debutants Welbeck and Lampard for their respective teams.
The game started with Gunners kicking off and playing at a high pace & tempo which saw them dominating for the best parts of first half-hour when they created many chances. Welbeck went close to scoring and was as little as 3 inches from scoring when he was one on one with the keeper but his perfect chip hit the far post. It was also the best chance of the half for the Reds. But a City counterattack gave them the lead in the 28th minute courtesy of a goal from Agüero bringing them back in game. Few other chances were created but none were converted. And the first half ended with Arsenal trailing by a Goal.
Second half was started at the same pace by both the teams. Gunners and Citizens initiated many attacks but failed to finish. Finally, the home team took their chance and scored the equaliser through Wilshere's Goal of the game on 63rd minute which was a typical, typical Arsenal Goal. Quick passing, Quick movement and one touch finish! 10 minutes later Sanchez gave the lead scoring 3rd goal in as many matches and the whole stadium went into a frenzy and disbelief. But the Champions came back in the final 10 minutes with a Goal from Corner headed by Demichelis restoring parity on 83rd Minute. The drama didn't ended here as the sky blues hit the post twice through substitutes Kolarov and Dzeko.
In the end, it was a Fair result. But Gunners had a bit neagtivity because of Debuchy's injury who got a sprained ankle which forced him into a substitution on 81st minute bringing Chambers in action.
Overall, after watching such an inspiring and improved performance by the gunners it can be concluded that there's a positive change in the wind and mentally they are better equipped to face big opponents this season. From now onwards instead of worry and nervousness, there will be eagerness and excitement to face the big rivals.
